AUTOMOTIVE

Opsys-Tech LIDAR is Pure Solid-State system with no moving parts. Our unique approach (patent pending) supports a refresh rate of 1KHz for the full field of view, enabling outstanding object detection capabilities.  With small size and low cost, the system also provides maximum flexibility in sensor placement and integration, fitting the needs of a wide variety of customers. 

RF OVER FIBER FOR SATCOM
  • Earth station communication may require extension of RF links due to physical location limitations, remote antenna or redundancy/disaster recovery link through remote location.   

  • OPSYs offers RF over Fiber links for up to 20GHz RF signals. Additional digital/discrete signals for monitoring and control handled with our Rugged Media Converters. Our modular design addresses various performance requirements, with optional RF amplification, optional optical amplification, indoors and outdoors packaging, electrical or optical multiplexing (WDM, CWDM, DWDM).

  • OPSYS offers such solutions in module form factor or rack mounted system solution.

  • In addition to the above legacy solutions OPSYS also offers the ACON series, an Electro-Optic active cable supporting both analog and digital signals transmission over fiber for harsh environment.

RF OVER FIBER FOR REMOTE ANTENNA, DISTRIBUTED ANTENNA SYSTEMS AND CELLULAR BASE STATIONS

It is very common that RF signals are handled at the antenna or as close as possible to it. As frequencies increase (e.g. Gen5. LTE) while it’s desired to reduce antenna site size and network cost it becomes valid to locate the receiving and transmitting equipment remotely to the antenna at an aggregation site. 
RF over Fiber technology enables such network architecture as it provides low loss at high frequencies, long distance, EMI susceptible medium and distribution to multiple antennas by simple optical splitting  both for redundancy and distribution of common signals (e.g. accurate time signal). It is also applicable for buildings where RF signals should be split to multiple floors and antennas are distributed around the building

FIBER OPTICS IN INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENT

Industrial plant is an harsh environment for communication. While data rates in the industrial plants increase rapidly fiber optic solutions become more valid for such application. Rugged Fiber optics supports Long distances/Higher loss links, High bandwidth/data rates, Galvanic isolation and better susceptibility to EMI and more Secured communications. Our Rugged Media Converters enable the use of standard protocols and legacy interfaces converge to the optical medium.

TEMPERATURE AND STRAIN SENSORS
  • OPSYS Fiber optic Sensing system provides full solution for remote Temperature Sensors or Strain Sensors with a processing unit and client interface per customer preference (GUI or send data to the customer system). 

  • Our sensor is based on Fiber Bragg Grating, it has the following benefits:

DATA CENTER SWITCHING
  • Optical Switching in the data center enables very high capacity switching between servers / storage devices at a demarcation point which doesn’t require any type of protocol awareness. 

  • OPSYS OPX-N product family is a Rack mounted solution for all optical switch, MxN ports with blocking architecture. The solution addresses single mode or multimode fiber connectivity.
