Opsys develops a unique advanced Pure Solid State Scanning LiDAR with NO moving parts for the automotive industry. We have recently signed a few agreements with major automotive global players to supply our LiDAR to major OEMs in Asia and Europe. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain optical test equipment, ensuring its reliability, accuracy, and efficiency for testing a wide range of optical components and systems.

• Perform multidisciplinary system design and documentation from concept to installation.

• Design, plan, and optimize test setups for various optical system tests, analyze test results, and prepare reports.

• Analysis and simulation of system performance and characteristics.

• Working in collaboration with various teams in the company and with subcontractors to reach an optimal design: Optics, Mechanics, HW, SW and Algorithms.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Physics, Optics/Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.

• 2ndor 3rd degree with experimental thesis – advantage.

• Experience in development and testing of optical systems and components.

• At least 2 years of experience in multidisciplinary projects.

• Strong system view. System engineering experience – strong advantage.

• Experience with software for test results analysis (Python, Matlab).

• Must be able to work independently with initiative to explore problems and new ideas.

• Team player. Good interpersonal skills.

• Hands-on laboratory experience.

• Experience with laser/image sensors/lens system characterization - advantage.

• Experience with Zemax, Code V, Speos, LightTools - advantage.
