Opsys develops a unique advanced Pure Solid State Scanning LiDAR with NO moving parts for the automotive industry. We have recently signed few agreements with major automotive global players to supply our LiDAR to major OEMs in Asia and Europe.

We’re looking for a production engineer leader to join our team and to lead multidisciplinary production line activities for automotive optical systems. You will have proven experience and knowledge with multidisciplinary manufacturing and engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Establishing (NPI) and controlling multidisciplinary production lines in CM premises including: SMT lines, electro-optical assemblies, die attach & wire bond microelectronics, optical alignment stations and end of line testing stations.

• Leading definition and creation of needed fixtures for the production flow like feeders, dispensers, etc.

• Defining preventive maintenance and problem solving of production fixtures in the production line.

• Investigating, solving and leading corrective actions of production faults including:echanicals, electricals, and optics.

• Creating industrialization and automation process for mass production.

• Processing and preparation of reports for management level.

Requirements:

• Minimum electronics practical engineering.

• Proven knowledge of relevant IPC, MIL and other assembly related qual standards.

• Experience in development from scratch electro-optical production lines.

• Proven experience in transfer of production processes and lines to subcontractors in Israel and abroad.

• Supporting production sites in Israel and oversees (travel as required).

• Creating instructions and user guides for operators in the production line.
