The event, one of the largest and most influential gatherings for urban innovation, takes place in Barcelona from November 5th to 7th, 2024.
Opsys and Avanti are working together to shape the future of smart cities by making roads safer for both vehicles and pedestrians. At Smart City Expo, Avanti will demonstrate a system utilizing Opsys ALTOS LiDAR sensor to detect vulnerable pedestrian and bicycle traffic and communicate this information to approaching vehicles at intersections. The exhibit will highlight the advantages of the LiDAR-based solution over similar camera-based systems, like those Avanti has successfully deployed in Tartu, Estonia. The system will be exhibited at the Avanti booth located at A-141 at the expo.
